Our story
Purely Turmeric started in March 2020, during the pandemic of unprecedented times, with the mission of making healthy living more hassle free, the motto was how can I keep my immune system strong during this difficult time with Covid 19, to keep me and my family free from the virus, so I took pure root turmeric everyday to improve my health.
Before I invented Purely Turmeric, there was one problem with my morning routine: peeling, chopping, and juicing turmeric each morning was messy and time consuming.
As a busy mum there was hardly enough time in the day to pack lunches, prepare healthy meals, school runs, and spend a half hour each morning concocting my own health tonic.
I wanted to prepare enough turmeric to last the week but lose none of its nutrients, flavour, or freshness.
So, I experimented with different preparation methods to preserve the miraculous root’s essential enzymes, nutrients, and vitamins.
So I would peel, chop and juice a large quantity of fresh root turmeric and freeze the resulting juice into pre-portioned cubes.
Then the morning ritual became as simple as popping a turmeric cube into a mug of hot water, shake, breakfast or smoothie, and in my cooking.
